Hosta 'Halcyon'
Halcyon is the blue I point people to first, because the color actually holds. The waxy coating that makes it that steel-blue melts off in hot afternoon sun, so mine sits where it only gets morning light and stays blue right through July. The leaves are thick, which is supposed to help with slugs, and I don't have much slug damage here, though I mulch heavily, so I can't tell you how much of that is the plant and how much is the mulch.
