Affiliate disclosure
Short version: some of the "where to buy" links on this site are, or will be, affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes which varieties I list or what I say about them.
How to tell
When a buy link is an affiliate link, it is marked right next to the link as an affiliate link. If there is no marker, it's an ordinary link and I earn nothing from it. Right now the site is new and most links are ordinary; the marked ones will appear as programs are approved.
Which programs
Where I use affiliate links, they go through established retailers and networks such as Nature Hills and Etsy sellers (via the Awin network), and general garden supplies via Amazon Associates. I only link to vendors I would actually buy a plant from.
What doesn't change
The trait data and my notes come from public registry records and my own garden, reviewed by hand before anything goes up. A commission on the far side of a link has no say in any of that. If a variety is a slug magnet or a deer's favorite snack, the page will tell you so, affiliate link or not.
