possibly not enough water or too much water. I would call a nursery and ask some one.

    I’ve attached the website for folks that enjoy hostas. Maybe you can find the answer there…or even present your dilemma to them.

    did they open all the way? before they open fully they will wrinkle also if too much water or too little water will make them wrinkle,, if your watering, cut back a little if you havn’t been watering then give them a little more (rain pending), if all else fails do a soil sample,,, hostas dont ask for much and they may look a little sour once in a while but they always seem to bounce back
