I have a brown thumb and lots of shade to plant in. Suggestions? I live in central Oklahoma.

Lantana wants full sun.

Shade plants are hostas, ferns, impatiens, dead nettle, azaela, toadlily, and others.

I recommend you visit your local garden center and ask them what does well in your area in shade. They’ll be able to show you lots of things.

    Hi Jade,
Hostas are great in shade and come in many different colored varieties. They are very hardy and you can’t hardly kill one … not even with the brownest thumbs.
    🙂
My brothers old house (he moved out of state) nearby still has a healthy Hosta garden years after he moved.
