Planting Hosta Seeds?

Question by mommy of 2: Planting Hosta Seeds?
I have about 50-70 hosta seeds that a friend gave me. I dont have time or a green thumb to start them in my home. Can I plant them in a row by the edge of my woods/yard for them to grow? Will they grow? First time home owner and first time for trying to plant things. I also have some Hosta bulbs. What do i need to do with them?

You are supposed to plant bulbs in the fall really so now is not a good time for those. The seeds, just stick them in the ground and see what happens. It’s usualy easier to buy Hosta from your local garden center and plant an already mature plant. They are perennial and will come back bigger every year.
