Question by Shirley A: what plants like lots of shade and water?
I want to put something along the side of my shed, which is mostly in the shade, and the rain runs down it into the border. What flowers or plants would like to live there?

cast iron plants can survive anything.
cast iron plants can only survive to 5 so if up north dont plant it outside unless as an annual

I am wanting to plant my first flower garden in front of my house, I have never really planted anything! What kind of flowers can I buy that are easy to take care of, easy to plant and that I do not have to worry about planting every couple of months, preferrably ones that grow back? Thanks.

Cranesbill geraniums,low growing,spreads at tolerable speeds,grow well in sun and shade,blooms freely all season,comes back every year,comes in plnk purple white.no trimming.perfect for beginner! Lilies are great too.

Some of the leaves are turning yellow/brown, and I read that it’s a fungus that is causing this? Are there any natural products to get rid of this?

I have a big tree with spider roots that hit the surface in spots. I am unable to grow grass there, but would like to put in some mulch and plants. Where can I learn more about this?
